Storage and tracking
Submitted entries and optional enquiries are delivered through FormSubmit and held in R&A’s email records. Details displayed on this page reset when you reload; this does not withdraw an entry already accepted for processing. The cookie-choice preference is stored in your browser until you clear it; change it using Cookie settings in the footer. No optional campaign analytics or advertising scripts are enabled.
01Information covered by the notice
We collect information you submit, including your name, business name, role, email address, business telephone number, website status and any enquiry details. We record entry references, submission times, rule acceptance, marketing choices and relevant correspondence. We may request proportionate information to verify business eligibility or a selected winner.
02Purpose of information
We use entry information to administer the competition, check eligibility and duplicate entries, conduct and document the draw, contact the selected winner and deliver the prize. We use enquiry details to respond to the specific service discussion you request. We also use necessary records for security, disputes and legal obligations.
03Form-processing service
Entries and optional enquiries are transmitted by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-processing service, which delivers them by email to R&A. FormSubmit may temporarily retain submissions while processing and delivering them, in line with its own policies. R&A then holds the information in its email records for the purposes described here.
04Your choices
Required fields are marked on the form. Providing entry information is voluntary, but we cannot process an entry without the information reasonably needed to administer it. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of entry or of receiving the prize.
05Marketing and requested contact
We may still send necessary competition or service messages. A request for a website or marketing consultation permits a response about that request; it does not automatically enrol you in recurring promotions.
06Your rights and complaints
Subject to POPIA and applicable procedures, you may ask whether we hold your personal information, request access or correction, seek deletion where legally available, object to qualifying processing, and withdraw consent. Legal retention duties may mean that not every record can be deleted immediately. We may reasonably verify your identity before responding. You can complain directly to the Information Regulator without first exhausting our internal process: https://inforegulator.org.za/complaints/ .
07Changes to this notice
We will publish updates here with a revised effective date. A change to this notice does not itself create consent for a new marketing purpose. We will provide further notice or seek fresh consent when required.
