01Eligibility and one entry per business
One entry is permitted per independently operating business. Only that business’s earliest valid entry counts. Multiple submissions by different staff members, or through different email addresses, do not create additional entries for the same business. The person submitting must be authorised to act for the business and provide accurate business and contact details.
02Free entry
No purchase, paid service or marketing subscription is required. R&A charges no entry fee. An entry reference confirms receipt, subject to eligibility and duplicate checks. A paid enquiry or purchase does not improve the chance of winning.
03Entry validation
An incomplete or ineligible submission does not displace a later valid entry received before closing.
04Publicity and fair administration
The winner may decline photographs, testimonials, case studies and other marketing participation without losing the prize. Any publicity permission will be requested separately. Nothing in these rules removes statutory consumer rights or prevents a complaint to a competent regulator or court. South African law applies.
05Website prize
The prize includes one website of up to seven pages for the winning business, a first-year .co.za domain allowance of up to R150, three months of prize hosting, and two consolidated revision rounds. Each revision round consists of one consolidated set of feedback from the winner.
06Domain and hosting
The R150 allowance applies to the first year of one .co.za domain, subject to availability. Any optional cost must be disclosed and accepted separately; it must not become an undisclosed charge to claim the prize. There is no automatic conversion to paid hosting and no automatic paid renewal. Continued paid hosting requires a separate agreement. The winning business owns its registered domain and submitted content. Domain registration must identify the business as registrant and provide appropriate access.
07Optional R12,500 website offer
The promotional price of R12,500 is limited to one website per independently operating business. It is separate from the competition prize. Entering, declining the offer, or declining marketing has no effect on draw eligibility or odds. Requesting a discussion does not itself place an order.
